Rhythm and Rhyme Booking Terms & Conditions

Please read the booking terms and conditions before completing your booking.

Rhythm and Rhyme reserves the right to cancel your place in class in the unlikely event that you fail to abide by the Terms and Conditions but are under no obligation to provide a refund for any lessons.

COVID-19 Requirements

  1. I WILL NOT attend classes for at least 14 days following diagnosis if myself, my child, or anyone in my household tests positively for COVID-19.
  2. I WILL NOT attend classes if either myself or my child – or anyone in my household – has displayed COVID-19 symptoms in the last 14 days. 
  3. If I arrive at Rhythm and Rhyme classes and either myself or my child are displaying symptoms that may be linked to COVID-19, the Class Leader has the right to refuse entry to the class. 
  4. If I, my child, or anyone in my household develops COVID-19 symptoms within 14 days of attending a Rhythm and Rhyme class I will alert Rhythm and Rhyme. 
  5. I agree that I will bring a face covering and wear throughout the session unless I am medically exempt.
  6. I agree to Rhythm and Rhyme sharing my details for TRACK AND TRACE purposes if necessary.
  7. I agree that Rhythm and Rhyme will store my data in accordance with current GDPR Guidance.

Cancellation

  1. Should classes be cancelled due to national/regional lockdowns or changes in guidance relating to COVID-19 (or any similar pandemic) your booking will be transferred to online classes until face to face classes can resume.  No refund will be given in this instance.
  2. Parents and carers who choose not to attend or forget to attend a booked class due to any reason will not be given a refund and the class may not be carried . 
  3. Sessions missed due to illness of attendees will not be refunded or carried forward.
  4. By participating in our classes, you agree that refunds will not be issued due to sickness, holiday leave, ‘Acts Of God’ or ‘Force Majeure’.

Social Distancing  

We have adapted our classes and put procedures in place to allow social distancing within the sessions.  Everyone will have their own mat that is distanced around the room.  Each child and parent will have their own individual props for the session.

  1. All attending adults agree to adhere to social distancing when attending Rhythm and Rhyme classes.
  2. All attending adults agree to support us in ensuring the sensory props provided are used by only you and your child, so that there is no sharing of equipment. 
  3. All attending adults agree to support their child and encourage them to socially distance within the class. 

Covid-19 Waiver:

Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19* 

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19*, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organisation. COVID-19 is contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, local governments and government health agencies recommend social distancing. Rhythm and Rhyme has put into place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19*; Rhythm and Rhyme cannot guarantee that you or your child(ren) will not become infected with COVID-19*. By booking this class you acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19* and voluntarily assume the risk that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19* by attending Rhythm and Rhyme classes and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. You understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19* at Rhythm and Rhyme classes may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of yourself and others, including, but not limited to, Rhythm and Rhyme and class participants and their families. You voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to yourself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that you may experience or incur in connection with your attendance at Rhythm and Rhyme. On your behalf, and on behalf of your children, you hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Rhythm and Rhyme, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. You understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Rhythm and Rhyme, whether a COVID-19* infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any Rhythm and Rhyme class.

By booking this class you / your child / children are registering to participate in activities held by Rhythm and Rhyme and you are accepting this waiver and all the terms and conditions (insofar as they are applicable). You should only book if you have read them and voluntary accept them.

Disclaimer Rhythm and Rhyme accepts no responsibility under any circumstances for any loss (consequential or otherwise), damage, expense or delay suffered or incurred by the Parent/Carer, the child or any other party arising directly or indirectly or in any way connected with the attendance of the child at the sessions including but not limited to, the unavailability of a teacher, ‘Acts of God’, the postponement or delay in the Course (or any part of it) or any other act or omission on the part of Rhythm and Rhyme, their teachers, employees or agents. By attending any Rhythm and Rhyme class, party or event you agree to constantly supervise all the children in your care and to take full responsibility for them.

By attending any Rhythm and Rhyme class, party or event you agree to abide by the safety guidelines to ensure social distancing. 

Rhythm and Rhyme has taken all reasonable care in ensuring that their programmes are safe. However, the Parent and/or Carer agrees that their child will be engaging in physical activities that may involve some risk of injury. The Parent and/or Carer acknowledges that they have been advised to consult with their child’s physician with respect to any past or present injury, illness, health problem or any other condition or medication that may affect their child’s participation in Rhythm and Rhyme classes.

The Parent and/or Carer assumes the above risks and accepts responsibility for any injury sustained by their child and agrees to discharge and hold harmless Rhythm and Rhyme, its owners, class leaders, from any liability arising from any injury to your child or other persons or property caused by your child’s participation in the Rhythm and Rhyme classes.

Rhythm and Rhyme takes no responsibility whatsoever for any loss, damage or expense incurred whilst participating in a class or whilst on the premises of where a class is taking place.

Rhythm and Rhyme reserves the right to exclude a Parent and/or Carer and/or Pupil from a class permanently, or for the time they feel necessary, due to behaviour that is not deemed acceptable within a class.

The Parent and/or Carer agrees that any claim made against Rhythm and Rhyme, its owners, and personnel including its Teachers and its Suppliers, will be made in writing within 30 days of the incident taking place and failure to report in writing within this time will negate any such claim.

Changes to our Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to make amendments to our Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect changes in our business or statutory obligations. The new version will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting. If applicable these changes will be communicated to all our customers by email.
